| Some festivals are based
on religous holidays, and therefore change date each year. Dates
of organised festivals may also vary from year to year. Some
you would not notice, for example Islamic New Year and the Prophets
Birthday, others you cannot fail to hear, such as Aid el Khebir and Ashurra, the latter being a big local street music festival.
Religoius festivals move forward about 11 days each year on the Gregorian calander. If you want to include an event in your itinary please contact
us to see if we can ascertain the exact date. We can help with
participation in some of the events, for example the Marathon
and Half-Marathon. |
